EDU 2022 Projects Page

Project 1:
I created my index page for my website. When I became comfortable with designing a webpage, I was able to create my webpage with my unique style.  There are links on my index page that take you to my university website, my resume, class projects, and some recommended links.  I posted my work on the server by using the WinSCP FTP program.
Project 2: I created my resume.  I saved my resume as a .pdf file, using the Adobe software.
Project 3:
I created a delicious account.  In this account I posted links to different websites that I think are useful.

Project 4:
For this project, I explored several school sites.  I found a very useful website by Ms. Jacoby.  She is a second grade teacher at Peirce School in  Arlington, Massachusetts.  Ms. Jacoby uses technology to support learning.
Project 5: I created an about me page.  Here, I created a Photostory with some of my most favorite pictures!
Project 6: With help from my partner, Maggie, we created a curriculum theme.  We created an essential question.  Based off of the essential question, we created a rationale that explains the reasons for and potential benefits of studying The Global Food Crisis in 2008.  We evaluated web sites as valid resources for this theme.  The evaluation categories include: Accuracy and Authority, Content Relevance, Currency, and Coverage,  Design and Navigation, Additional Resources.
Project 7: My partner Maggie and I created a Global Food Crisis concept map.  We used Inspiration software.  To make it compatible to use, we exported it as a .gif file and imported it onto a Composer page.
Project 8: Maggie and I created two graphs that represent the Global Food Crisis using Microsoft Excel and the Graphing Wizard.
Project 9: Maggie and I found a SmartBoard activity that relates to the Global Food Crisis.  Although the lesson may not be directly related to our topic, the last page is open to discussion where Maggie and I would make the connection between the activity and the Global Food Crisis.
Project 10: I found a WebQuest that is related to the Global Food Crisis theme.  I evaluated this Webquest by Mrs. Abell. This is a World Hunger WebQuest geared toward a third grade class.  It includes an Introduction, Task, Process, Resources, Evaluation, and Conclusion.  Mrs. Abell did a great job creating this WebQuest!
Project 11:
Maggie and I created a podcast that explains the importance of the Global Food Crisis.
**The podcast will open in Windows Media Player.**

Project 12:
Maggie, Danielle, and I created an Ethics PowerPoint on Internet Addiction.  We included an explanation of the issue, personal counts, and our position about the issue.  We saved it as PDF file.
