~EDU 2022 PROJECTS PAGE~

Project 1:    I created my own web page on the web! This page has a link to Eastern Illinois University's home page, access to my e-mail address, a full review of my resume, and much more. From my web page you can also link to my delicious account that will be filled with web site's I think are great for students. Also, it has good resources for other soon to be teachers. I posted my index page using WinSCP file transfer.

Project 2:    I posted my resume to my web page as a .pdf file using the Adobe software. I used EIU Career Services model to create my personal resume.

Project 3:    I created my own delicious account at delicious.com.  I have my account linked to my web page so you can check out the great web site's I found!

Project 4:  I explored the web to find a web site of a current teacher. I was amazed at how many fantastic teacher web site's I was able to find. The teacher web site I chose was Mrs. Miller's 1st grade class.  Her web page includes links to parents corner, homework, spelling words, and birthday's in her classroom!

Project 5:   I created my personal about me page. It has information about me and my family!                       

Project 6:    I worked with a partner (Dede Powell) to create a curriculum theme. Our essential question was Obesity in Adolescence. Why is it a problem? Why is it important for parents to be involved? Check out the information that we gathered and evaluated! Also click below to check out our concept map and graph!

Project 7:  We used inspiration software to create a picture image for our curriculum theme.  We exported our concept map as .gif picture file and then posted it to a composer page. Check our our concept map!

Project 8:   Using Excel and data from our curriculum web site Dede and I created this graph to represent our data.

Project 9:    Dede and I found a great smart board activity to go along with our curriculum theme.

Project 10:   Dede and I  also found a great Webquest that goes along with our Childhood Obesity curriculum theme. We evaluated it together and turned in a hard copy of our evaluation results to our teacher. We also posted our webquest on our projects page! Check it out!

Project 11:    Using Audacity software Dede and I create a podcast explaining the importance and extent of our chosen curriculum theme. We added music and sound effects.

Project 12:    Dede and I made a powerpoint about an Ethical Issue. We chose to do our assignment on the use of cell phones in the classroom.
